The 18th annual Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is back on the road in 2024 with a top notch selection of short films that are sure to get you fired up for the season ahead. The F3T is the original and largest fly fishing film event of its kind. Come for the action and stay for the giveaways and camaraderie that will feed your fishing addiction. Circus Mutt – Live Music

Circus Mutt is back for their second national tour and we’re so excited to have them at Big Trout! If you missed them last spring, you won’t want to miss them again this year!
Circus Mutt was formed in the Blue Ridge Hills near Asheville, NC in 2010. The Mutt weaves influences of country and soul, grass and rock to form a sound that is instantly American. Live performances are energetic, and feature catchy covers and craft originals. Wherever they are, it’s sure to be a tail-waggin’ party, and you’re surely welcome!

Join us for a good cause and help raise funds for a great local, non-profit early education center, Grand Kids Learning Center. 20% of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to GKLC in support of their educational programs.

It’s fishing season, so our guides are on the river. Fly Tying Nights will return next winter!
Come Tie One On with Big Trout! Join local fishing guide, Leif Eggert, and learn to tie some of his favorite flies for fishing our local waters. Bring your own vice or use one of his, or feel free to just watch and learn. Whichever way you choose to participate, be sure to bring your fish stories and get ready to learn a ton while enjoying happy hour pricing on beer and appetizers.
